Our Mission and Core Beliefs
We founded SkyGeni in San Jose, California, the capital of Silicon Valley with a core mission to transform how B2B GTM teams use data and augmented intelligence to drive predictable growth and improve sales efficiency.
With decades of leadership experience between us across companies of varying sizes, we observed that in most fast-growing B2B tech companies:
- GTM teams were resorting to DIY as the primary mechanism of generating holistic insights to guide smart growth investment decisions. Ops teams were overwhelmed with wrangling data from multiple systems, and living in spreadsheet hell with stale CRM snapshots.
- While a number of tools provide activity intelligence and help close more deals for the quarter, when it came to generating holistic insights to guide smart growth investment decisions, building an in-house insights infrastructure from scratch was the only option.
- Suboptimal and / or misaligned decisions were being made with gut-feel and guesswork, resulting in significant growth underperformance relative to potential, and poor predictability. The tip of the iceberg is the huge performance gap among B2B sales reps, where the bottom 80% routinely underperforms the top 20%.
We passionately believe that:
- Insights should be delivered and consumed as a service, much like infrastructure and most other things are. You don’t build your own data center anymore, and you shouldn’t have to build your own growth insights tech stack either.
